Refreshing ... Rejuvinating ... Relaxing ... Restoring

Time to get back into the creative flow.  Life becomes so tense and so busy and one just seems to get caught up and swept along.  A week of refreshing - thank you Lord! - starting to rejunvinate and just hear what is being laid on my heart.  Allowing that mantle of creativity and inspiration to be used and expanded.  To take time to stop and just breathe, become aware and sensitive to the wonders that surround us.

Time to be released into a new phase of ones life as the old passes and the new begins.

"Now it came  about on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the kings palace in front of the kings rooms, and the king was sitting on his royal throne in the throne room, opposite the entrance to the palace. And it happened when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she obtained favour  in his sight;  and the king extended to Esther the golden scepter which was in his hand.  So Esther came near and touched the top of the scepter..  then the king said to her "What is troubling you, Queen Esther?  And what is your request?  Even to half of the kingdom and it will be given to you."

Life Is A Journey!

Life Is A Journey!
Our paths in life can lead through beauty and struggle, growth and loss, self discovery and God discovery. We can have off road adventures and well worn trails, amazing sights and terrible storms but through it all we have to know that where there is hope there is Life!

Sometimes we just need to press on through these storms and struggles and one day , no matter how dark it seems right now, we discover the beauty of our unique journey. We have to hold onto hope through all our difficulties and adventures in this journey of life, and know that we can become the person we were always meant to be!

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1

Paul said, "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened that you may know the hope to which He has called you."

Hope is an emotional state which promotes belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life.  Hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.  Hope is the act of looking forward to something with desire and reasonable confidence that something good is going to come your way.

We need to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our own understandings but placing our Hope in Him as we continue on this journey of life and destiny.  It is written,  "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

Place your Hope in Him today and move forward on that journey and into your destiny!

29 faces - Freedom, fun, joyous times, change and transformation

Day 10 - 29 faces - mixed media  - The Butterfly

This unwavering acceptance of her metamorphosis is also symbolic of faith. Here the butterfly beckons us to keep our faith as we undergo transitions in our lives. She understands that our toiling, fretting and anger are useless against the turning tides of nature – she asks us to recognize the same."

There is a Native American legend that says, " If you have a secret wish, capture a butterfly and whisper your wish to it. Since butterflies cannot speak, your secret is ever safe in their keeping. Release the butterfly, and it will carry your wish to the Great Spirit, who alone knows the thoughts of butterflies. By setting the butterfly free, you are helping to restore the balance of nature, and your wish will surely be granted."

The butterfly is a reminder to make changes when the opportunity arises. Change and transformation are inevitable for us all, but it does not have to be traumatic. Butterfly symbolism is also closely tied to the idea of spirits and souls. It has been used in many religions and cultures. In the western world, the symbol of the butterfly stands for freedom, fun and joyous times. It is also symbolises a state of naturalness and purity.
